Andrew DeLaney earned his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 2013. He received his B.A. in political science from Syracuse University in 2009 and is a 2005 graduate of The Delbarton School.
Mr. DeLaney has been admitted to practice law in New Jersey since 2013. He has handled numerous divorce/family law matters and domestic violence disputes in family court throughout the state.
Andrew is experienced with developing estate plans, including drafting Wills, Trusts, Medical Directives/Living Wills, and Powers of Attorney. He has also served as the attorney on numerous real estate transactions, both residential and commercial, and on both the seller and purchaser side.
Mr. DeLaney has successfully defended multiple clients facing more than a decade in prison on an array of charges, including aggravated assault, attempted murder, domestic violence, and sexual assault, as well as clients facing less severe charges in municipal court, including but not limited to driving while intoxicated.
Andrew has also handled civil litigation matters in the past, as well as landlord tenancy disputes. All of this past legal experience provides him with a diverse background to handle many aspects of Divorce, Family Law, and Domestic Violence cases.
In addition to being a lawyer, Mr. DeLaney is the Advocate for the Knights of Columbus, is an active member of the Morristown Rotary Club, and sits on the Advisory Board of the Great Swamp Watershed Association.
